One tidy PDF—or the exact pieces you need.

Local processing · no upload

03
Your documents stay on your device.

PDFStitch reads, rearranges, and rebuilds PDFs locally. There is no upload, server copy, account, or watermark.

Document order without document exposure.

Merge mode places every page from the first PDF before every page from the next. Move files up or down until the order is right, then download one combined copy.

Split mode uses plain page groups. Each semicolon starts a new output file, so you choose exactly which pages travel together.

01

Arrange

Add up to 12 PDFs and put them in the order the recipient expects.

02

Separate

Use ranges, individual pages, or non-adjacent pages in each output.

03

Download

Save the result directly from your browser without an account.

Paperwork that arrived in the wrong shape.

Application packets

Combine a cover page, form, certificate, and supporting evidence.

Selected chapters

Extract the section a colleague or client actually needs.

Invoices and receipts

Join a month’s documents into one ordered PDF.

Class materials

Separate handouts or reading sections by page range.

Scanned documents

Remove unwanted scan pages by leaving them out of the split plan.

Always open every result before sending it. Rebuilding a PDF may remove bookmarks, forms, attachments, accessibility structure, or signatures even when every page still looks correct.

Before you stitch.

Does PDFStitch upload my documents?

No. Selected PDFs are read and rebuilt by code running in your browser. HandyTrove does not receive or store the documents.

How many PDFs can I merge?

You can currently combine up to 12 PDFs, with a 60 MB limit per file, a 120 MB combined limit, and up to 120 pages in each input PDF.

How do I split a PDF into several files?

Separate page groups with semicolons. For example, 1-3; 4-7; 8,10 creates three downloadable PDFs. Use commas to combine non-adjacent pages in one output.

Will links, forms, bookmarks, or signatures still work?

Page appearance is generally preserved, but document-level features can be lost or invalidated when files are rebuilt. Do not use PDFStitch for digitally signed documents, complex forms, portfolios, or archival masters.

Can PDFStitch open password-protected PDFs?

Not currently. Remove the password using the application that created the document, but only when you have permission to do so.
